Kim Kardashian shared a heartbreaking note for her grandmother Mary Jo ‘MJ’ Shannon after being hard-launched by rumoured boyfriend Lewis Hamilton.
The American Horror Story actress was fond of her sweet grandmother MJ, whom she described as her best friend, gossip buddy and her “forever twin”.
After the death of her grandma on July 16, Kim took to Instagram and posted a carousel of pictures, showcasing memorable moments with MJ over the years.
“You taught all of us the importance of family, and those values are something we’ll carry with us forever!” promised the All’s Fair actress in the caption.
Kim credited her grandmother who was her inspiration to become a hardworking businesswoman.
“You gave me my very first job at your store in San Diego and taught me lessons about work ethic, strength, and confidence that I’ve carried with me ever since,” explained the reality star.
Kim called her grandma her “safe place” and revealed that she was the only who “believed” in her and “championed” her.
“You truly were the matriarch of our family, and your love is woven into all of us,” remarked the 45-year-old.
In the end, Kim added, “I know you’re at peace now. Give Papa Harry, Aunt Karen, and my dad a hug for me. You will always be a part of me, I love you soooooo much and I will miss you forever and ever. YOU ARE THE BEST OF US!!!”
She ended the post with a laugh, “I know you are up in heaven, looking at all of our Instagram posts of you from your sneaky finsta account you would always use lol.”
Later, Lewis also showed his support via Instagram as Kim grieved her grandma's precious loss.
The F1 racer was previously spotted with Kim as both spent some quality time together at lake front in Chicago last week.
