Taylor Swift will probably appear in court after her album release to take part in the ongoing Blake Lively vs. Justin Baldoni's legal battle.
As per court documents obtained by the Daily Mail, the 35-year-old popstar has been asked to appear in a deposition in October.
According to a ruling by the judge, the Grammy winner could have text messages with Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively that may be presented as evidence in the case.
Now Swift will be deposed in the week beginning October 20-25, but only if the It Ends With Us director’s lawyers can persuade the judge for a deadline extension since the singer is busy with “professional obligations”.
Previously, a source close to Swift and her fiancé, Travis Kelce, told the above-mentioned outlet how Lively’s attempt to reach out to them had been met with silence.
On August 26, 2025, when the Lover hitmaker announced her engagement to Kelce, the Gossip Girl alum did not send her well-wishes to her former friend, which fed the current speculation.
They further added, “What would be the point of reaching out now? It really makes no sense.”
For the unversed, Lively and Baldoni will appear in court in March 2026.
She filed a sexual harassment case against Justin, accusing him of creating a hostile work environment during the filming of It Ends With Us. Justin has denied the allegations.
