Prince William and Kate Middletons clever privacy plan at new Windsor home

Prince William and Kate Middleton are putting privacy first as they prepare to move into their new “forever home.”

The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 43, are set to relocate to Forest Lodge in Windsor by the end of the year with their three children: Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, seven.

Currently living nearby at Adelaide Cottage, the family has been waiting for renovations to wrap up at the eight-bedroom Georgian mansion.

Among the key updates is a clever tactic designed to shield their family life from public view. According to reports, the couple have commissioned trees, shrubs, and a new fence to block sightlines into the property, ensuring maximum privacy.

The landscaping is said to be funded privately by William and Kate, who have always prioritized giving their children as normal a childhood as possible.

The move is expected to be complete before the year ends, once renovations are finalized.

While Forest Lodge is significantly larger than Adelaide Cottage, the Waleses are reportedly not planning to have live-in staff, opting instead for key staff members to be housed in smaller nearby residences.

Sources suggest William views Forest Lodge as the family’s long-term base, even when he eventually becomes King.
