Prince Harry has wrapped up his four-day trip to the UK with a heartfelt message about how much the visit meant to him.
A spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex said Harry had “loved being back in the UK, catching up with old friends, colleagues and just generally being able to support the incredible work of the causes that mean so much to him.”
His final engagement came Thursday morning in London, where he joined a Diana Award panel alongside CEO Dr. Tessy Ojo and four young people to discuss how social action can boost mental health.
The charity was founded in 1999 to honour Princess Diana’s legacy by celebrating young changemakers.
Harry, 40, is now set to fly back to California to reunite with Meghan Markle and their two children, Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four.
The duke’s packed schedule included the WellChild Awards, a moving stop at Queen Elizabeth II’s grave in Windsor on the third anniversary of her death, a visit to Nottingham’s Community Recording Studio, and an engagement at Imperial College’s Centre for Blast Injury Studies.
On Wednesday, he also reunited with King Charles for the first time in 19 months, spending nearly an hour together at Clarence House before heading to a reception at The Gherkin for the Invictus Games.
Asked about his father afterwards, Harry simply replied: “Yes, he’s great, thank you.”
