Prince Harry talks about challenging siblings bond amid Prince William feud

Prince Harry spoke candidly about sibling relationships as he attended the 2025 WellChild Awards in London on Monday, marking his first official engagement of his four-day UK trip.

Chatting with award-winner Declan Bitmead, 17, Harry asked about his younger brother before joking, “Does he drive you mad? You know what – siblings.”

When told the brothers attend the same school, the Duke quipped, “That sometimes makes it more challenging.”

The lighthearted remarks echoed Harry’s own experience, which he detailed in Spare, recalling how Prince William distanced himself from him at Eton.

Later, Harry delivered a heartfelt speech praising the “bravery, resilience and extraordinary love” of the young winners and their families.

Calling the event the “highlight of my year,” he said: “More than ever, WellChild’s mission must be our shared priority.”

The Duke presented the Inspirational Child award to six-year-old Esmée McGlinchey, who has undergone 35 surgeries since being born premature.

He also joked with other winners, from balloon sword fights to admitting he enjoys Love Is Blind with Meghan.

His solo UK visit comes amid speculation about a possible meeting with King Charles, though nothing has been confirmed.
