Prince Harry has returned to the UK for the 2025 WellChild Awards, with body language experts noting he appears “more relaxed” without Meghan Markle by his side.
The Duke of Sussex, 40, touched down at Heathrow earlier today before making a private visit to Windsor, where he quietly paid respects at Queen Elizabeth II’s grave in St George’s Chapel on the third anniversary of her passing.
Meghan, 44, has remained in Montecito with the couple’s two children, Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four.
According to body language expert Darren Stanton, Harry’s solo appearance may be a blessing in disguise.
Speaking to the Express, Stanton explained: “Harry was always going to have some nerves for his arrival as he knows the whole world is watching him."
"But he’s here for his passion. When he travels alone, he’s so much more relaxed, we see a more chilled version of Harry.”
Stanton noted that Harry’s posture and facial expressions suggest calmness, with “his shoulders down and no signs of nerves.”
The prince will step out tonight for the annual WellChild Awards, where he has served as patron for 17 years.
The event celebrates the resilience of seriously ill children in the UK and honours the caregivers who support them. Harry is set to deliver a speech and present one of the evening’s awards.
