Kate Middleton is preparing for a major public outing with Prince William in London on Thursday, September 4.

The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 43, will visit the Natural History Museum’s newly transformed gardens, where they will meet children and young people involved in learning programmes focused on biodiversity and connecting with nature.

As patron of the Museum, Kate has long supported its Urban Nature Movement, an initiative designed to inspire people to protect urban green spaces and boost biodiversity.

During the visit, the royal couple will see how cutting-edge technology is being used to support conservation and research projects.

They will also take part in activities with schoolchildren, including pond dipping with students from Lewisham and discussions with students from Manchester who are creating habitats on school grounds through the National Education Nature Park programme.

More than 7,500 schools, nurseries, and colleges are already part of the programme, transforming grey spaces into vibrant, nature-rich areas that improve wellbeing and green skills.

Kate, who has been open about her recovery journey after completing cancer treatment last year, has spoken about the healing power of nature for her and her family.
