Sabrina Carpenter’s seventh studio album, Man’s Best Friend is already a chart-topping success, but there is an interesting detail about its recording process that has just been disclosed.
The 26-year-old apparently did not record the 12-track album in a conventional studio, but actually converted a farmhouse into a makeshift one.
As per The Sun, the two-time Grammy winner rented the Soho Farmhouse in the Cotswolds for around £5,700 per night to secretly write and record the highly anticipated installment in her discography.
In behind-the-scenes snaps posted by Sabrina to her Instagram, the singer-songwriter appears to be comfortable in different areas around the property, with various recording gear set up.
It appears as if the Short n' Sweet hit maker did not need a proper studio after all, since her songs off of Man’s Best Friend have already made their way to the Top 10 of multiple charts just days after its release.
Notably, the Don't Smile crooner’s song Tears is the highest ranked, with My Man on Willpower and Sugar Talking following close behind in the list.
Yes Sabrina Carpenter worked with Taylor Swift’s longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff to produce Man’s Best Friend.
