Rihanna fails to win support from fans with new mix release

Rihanna, who is currently expecting her third child with A$AP Rocky, dropped a new mix for her fans with an animated video.

In honour of completing 20 years, the 37-year-old singer shared a stick-person (seemingly resembling the singer) to show her journey with remix of her hit tracks.

The 50-seconds clip featured songs including Pon De Replay, Umbrella, We Found Love, S&M, Diamond and Needed Me.

While the R&B singer is presumably living a full circle moment, fans are not impressed as they continue to look forward to her upcoming album R9.

On X, Rihanna's tweet garnered nearly 2k responses, mostly asking her about the ninth studio album. 

One of the users questioned about the release of new songs: “Are you waiting for us to protest before you do so?”

While another shared a gif of lady losing her patience and destroying everything around her with a caption: “Me waiting for a new song at the end of the video and it just ending.”

A critic noted that the video to mark her two-decade long career “is a letdown” as they feel that the “stick figure representation feels lazy and unoriginal.”

Many speculated that there is an Easter egg in the clip about the announcement, questioning: “It is a coded word for something we don’t know.”

Meanwhile, the Breakin’ Dishes crooner launched a vinyl box set and a merch after achieving a major milestone.

However, it is being speculated that Rihanna might soon shock the world by releasing her record after celebrating her anniversary.
