Born and bred in Harlem, A$AP Rocky embarked on a musical career as a member of the hip-hop collective ASAP Mob.

He is a Grammy-nominated rapper known for his contributions to hip-hop alongside a penchant for fashion.

Rocky burst onto the music scene in 2011 with his critically acclaimed mixtape Live.Love.A$AP.

Rocky’s father is of Barbadian descent while his mother is African-American. 

Both the rapper and one of his sisters adopted their name from their mother’s greatest hip-hop heroes Eric B & Rakim; his sister is Erika B.

Singles like Fashion Killa and F*****’ Problems' became his debut album’s top hits.

A$AP Rocky confirmed that he is dating the acclaimed pop star Rihanna back in 2021.

The pair were close friends and collaborators before they began dating.
