ASAP Rocky credits mother for relationship with Rihanna
American rapper ASAP Rocky and Rihanna share three children together
ASAP Rocky has been crowned as the perfect boyfriend material as he makes appearance with Rihanna, with whom he shares three children.
However, the 37-year-old singer did not entirely pursue Rihanna to be his life partner and it was his mother who played a significant role.
During his interview, the Sundress hitmaker revealed that his mother “used to say sh*t like” this.
She insisted that the rapper liked “this girl that you’re with right now,” stating: “I want you with RiRi.”
Although ASAP was always puzzled with her remarks, he now admitted that “mothers know best” where she would call her “real.”
The singer was insistent that Rihanna is “just” a friend, asking her to be “cool.”
ASAP expressed his gratitude to have the mother-of-three in his life at the right time, because he was not “ready” earlier.
It is to be noted that the musician recently sparked troubled relationship rumours after his flame was reportedly captured snapping at her beau.
The rapper is preparing to finally release his upcoming, fourth studio album Don’t Be Dumb which has faced major delays in the past.
When is Don't Be Dumb coming out?
It was reported that the album was delayed due to music leaks and issues with sample clearance. It is finally scheduled to release on January 16, 2026.
