Taylor Swift makes subtle dig at Ellen DeGeneres in latest interview

Taylor Swift recently threw shade at Ellen DeGeneres in her latest interview.

The Cruel Summer singer was in conversation with The New York Times last month in which Taylor revealed that criticism has always been “a huge fuel” for her.

The songstress pointed out that there are “so many songs” in her career that she noted would never exist, if she didn’t have people in her past life.

However, she lashed out at one of her old interviews where she mocked an interviewer, saying, “Here's a slideshow of all her boyfriends”.

Taylor’s comment reminded her fans of a previous interview from The Ellen DeGeneres Show where a clip of an awkward moment resurfaced on social media.

In that clip, Ellen was seen playing a slideshow of men the singer had reportedly dated and asked her to ring a bell whenever she recognised her ex.

During the segment, Taylor visibly looked uncomfortable and repeatedly asked Ellen to stop, saying it made her feel bad.

As the clip went viral on social media, some Swifties took to comment section and lashed out at Ellen.

One wrote, “Ellen is a Bully. How is this fun or funny? Listen to Taylor's words, watch her body language... Ugh, so mean.”

Another remarked, “Ellen was nothing more than a bully to her guests and staff in the name of comedy. Glad she’s off the air.”
