Janet Jackson marks bold appearance after ditching 'Michael' premiere

Janet Jackson, who recently made headlines after she decided to not appear in her late brother’s biopic, Michael, recently stunned on the red carpet.
The appearance comes after the launch of a blockbuster documentary on the life of legendary singer, Michael Jackson.
Now, the actress was seen attending the Grammy Hall of Fame event in Beverly Hills on Friday night, May 8th.
The event was specially organised to honor and induct her hit 1989 album, Rhythm Nation 1814.
For the special occasion, the songstress made a bold fashion statement as she was seen wearing an oversized gray striped suit with wide-leg trousers and a long blazer.
She also added pointy black heels and black tie to the look as she wowed the viewers with open curly hair.
It is to be noted that Janet was previously the “talk of the town” when she decided not to support her nephew, Jaafar Jackson.
For the unfamiliar, the whole Jackson family attended the worldwide premiere while some siblings of the Beat It hit maker also starred in the biopic, including Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and La Toya.
The famous movie was released on April 24, 2026.
