Cardi B was requested on a live stream to sing something like Rihanna, who recently attended the Met Gala 2026.
The 33-year-old singer attempted to hit the note from the Grammy winner’s song Diamonds, explaining the difference between their voices.
She stated that the Pon De Replay crooner has a “low base tone” while the rapper herself is “high” pitched.
Before singing, Cardi doubted: “I don’t know if I could.” The musician then made a hilarious move of trying but seemingly failing to copy the pop icon.
The singer celebrated with her tongue sticking out in her signature way, announcing: “I did it.”
The move was appreciated by the online community as one of the X users noted: “I bet no one will be bored around Cardi.”
While another netizen explained that the 38-year-old has a “vocal octave range of 4,” while the Bodak Yellow songmaker has “about 1.8. She can’t sing the keys Riri can sing comfortably.”
This came after the rapper made an appearance at the Met Gala with an interesting dress that was heavily scrutinised by netizens.
While the Up crooner wanted to resemble a dismembered doll, she was trolled for looking like a tumour or an intestine structure.
