Nick Pasqual has been found guilty of a number of crimes after a horrifying incident with his estranged girlfriend Allie Shehorn in 2024.
The How I Met Your Mother actor had been captured at a border checkpoint in Texas after breaking into the make-up artist’s Sunland home and stabbing her.
On Friday, the verdict for the case was announced and he was found guilty of first-degree residential burglary with a person present, and injuring a spouse, cohabitant, fiancé, boyfriend, girlfriend or child’s parent.
The plaintiff and victim recalled the incident in court, which occurred after she had gotten a restraining order against him over an alleged assault in January involving hitting her with a belt and an alleged sexual assault in April of that year.
"I locked the door and he just started punching holes in that door and broke that open, and I just ran into the bathroom because I thought there's another lock on that door," Shehorn had said tearfully.
Nick could face a maximum sentence of life in state prison but the sentencing is yet to be announced by the judge.
