Although the 35-year-old singer appeared on New Heights to announce her new album, Taylor seemingly failed to be listed among Grammy nominees for next year.
According to the official website of the prestigious awards, the eligibility period for 2026 session is for the works launched within the dates: “Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024, through Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025.”
However, the Bad Blood singer announced that the upcoming music will be released on October 3, 2025, failing to submit any tracks or albums with in the given time frame.
Previously, Taylor did not receive a nomination in 2018.
Fans were seemingly heartbroken as one X user admitted that the pop star “missing the 2026 GRAMMYs feels unreal.”
Meanwhile many admirers were convinced that the delay in the release of her songs was “intentional” as they pointed out how the authorities “literally betrayed her” in the last season.
A netizen noted that the 14-time Grammy winner “just didn’t prioritize having something to submit to the Grammys.”
Recently, it was being speculated that the singer will be releasing a lead single in order to be eligible for the Awards.
