Joey King recently showed support for her talented best friend, Sabrina Carpenter, following the release of her seventh studio album, Man’s Best Friend.
The 26-year-old actress took to Instagram on August 30 to praise the singer's track list and posted a screenshot of the single, Nobody’s Son, playing on Spotify.
The Kissing Booth actress captioned the story, “No skips. Not one. I love you, baby girl.”
Not only Joey, but other celebrities, including Offset, Nicki Minaj and Jack Antonoff, heaped praise on Sabrina for her new music.
Netizens rushed to social media to express their sentiments about the special bond between Joey and Sabrina.
One fan wrote, “They always looked like sisters to me, something only a best friend can pull off.”
Another follower penned, “I was wondering why she hadn’t said anything about the album yet.”
Notably, the duo’s friendship dates back to their meeting during an industry charity event when they were both 12 years old. It later solidified into a close relationship as the two often hype each other on public platforms.
In September 2023, the Manchild hitmaker performed at Joey’s wedding to director Steven Piet and later posted a tribute on her social media.
Previously, the pair collaborated on Sabrina’s 2018 music video for her track, Sue Me, in which the Bullet Train actor made a cameo.

Sabrina Carpenter posted an emotional tribute to her best friend, Joey King, on her Instagram. She wrote, “My wife got married, and I wept and wept. I love you both dearly!!!! Congrats on your love.”
