Joe Alwyn has finally weighed in on his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift’s engagement to Travis Kelce, after the pair shocked the world by breaking up in 2023.

The ex-couple’s love affair ending was a significant deal for them and for onlookers, so when the global popstar announced her engagement, many wondered how The Last Letter from Your Lover star felt.

A source has dished to Daily Mail that the London Boy doesn’t think about the Gorgeous singer on “any consistent basis,” and that Travis’ proposal has been “the final nail in the coffin to any thoughts” that might linger in Alwyn’s head.

The insider also revealed that The Favourite actor had not reached out to the 14-time Grammy winner since there was no need for it and that Taylor wouldn’t want to hear from him anyway.

However, Joe “genuinely hopes she is in a good place and doing well,” indicating there are no harsh feelings between the exes.

The 34-year-old had previously stepped out for the first time after the engagement news broke wearing an all-blue outfit, but did not personally comment on the freshly-betrothed pair.

Notably, Joe has previously spoken about navigating the breakup in the public eye, and how he likes to focus on things he can control as well as things that make him happy.
