Liam Payne’s sister reveals last meeting with the singer

One Direction star Liam Payne passed away on October 16, 2024 after falling from hotel room’s balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The star was survived by his only child, Bear Payne, who he shares with former partner, British singer Cheryl Tweedy, two sisters, Ruth and Nicola, and parents.

On August 29, the singer would have turned 32. His fans and family have expressed their grief over Liam’s first birthday since his passing.

Liam’s sister, Nicola, took to Instagram to remember her late brother and revealed their last meeting.

“A year ago today, we were so full of hope and excitement for what the years ahead would bring you.”, she wrote.

She added that they celebrated Liam’s 31st birthday, which would turn out ot be his last ever.

Revealing that was the last time she saw him, two months before his passing, she said, “If I had known that would be the last time I’d see you, I would have said so much more.”

The post comes a month after Liam’s last ever project, Building the Bands, was released where he acted as the guest judge.
