English group Coldplay has announced saddening news for its fans in London.

The group is currently on their Music of the Spheres World Tour which has entered its UK leg.

On Saturday, the band announced that the final two London dates will be rescheduled.

The band, led by Chris Martin, was set to perform on September 7 and 8 at Wembley stadium, which has been moved to other dates.

The show which was initially scheduled for 7th is now to be held on 6th, meanwhile the show that was set for 8th is now moved to 12.

In a statement shared by the group, it was informed hat due to the tube strike it is impossible to get “82,000” fans to and from Wembley Stadium without London Underground services.

“Therefore no event licence can be granted for the nights of 7th and 8th September.”, the added.

It is also informed that all tickets will remain valid for their rescheduled date and fans can use existing tickets.

Apologising for the inconvenience, they said , “We're very sorry for the inevitable disappointment, frustration and inconvenience that this situation causes.”

The tour is being termed as the most-attended concert tour in history, according to Guinness World Records, and this setback can cause major damage to it.

The tour began in Costa Rica on March 18, 2022 and will end with the Wembley show on September 12 in London.
