Prince Harry and King Charles may soon come face-to-face again after nearly two years apart, sparking hopes of a royal reconciliation.

The Duke of Sussex, 40, is due back in London on September 8 for the annual WellChild Awards, a charity he has supported for years.

The date will also mark the third anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s passing, making the occasion even more significant for the Royal Family.

According to reports in The Mirror, there is a "determination on both sides to make this happen," with Palace insiders suggesting that both Harry’s team and Buckingham Palace officials have opened new lines of communication.

A US source told the outlet: “For the first time in a long time, there's a genuine sense that reconciliation is within reach.

Prince Harry's team and the Palace have opened a line of communication, and there is every hope that father and son will see one another when the Duke returns to London in September.”

If the meeting goes ahead, it would be the first time Harry and his father have seen each other in 20 months, offering a glimmer of hope for easing the long-running tensions within the royal family.
