Meghan Markle faces brutal backlash as new poll calls for Netflix show cancellation

Meghan Markle has suffered a fresh setback following the release of season two of her Netflix lifestyle series With Love, Meghan. 

The new batch of episodes dropped on August 26, but fans are already calling for the show to be scrapped.

Unlike season one, which aired in March, the second series had been filmed in advance, requiring no new production. 

Although Netflix has yet to confirm whether a third season is in the works, speculation suggests Meghan is eager to continue the franchise. 

However, a new poll reveals public opinion is firmly against it.

Between August 26 and 27, the Express asked readers whether they wanted another series. Out of 541 voters, a massive 525 said no, just 11 voted yes, and five were undecided. 

One frustrated fan declared: “No, end this madness!” while another bluntly added: “Spare us,” referencing Prince Harry’s explosive memoir.

Despite the backlash, Daily Mail columnist Alison Bishoff claimed Meghan is keen to push ahead with a third season under the Sussexes’ renewed “first-look” deal with Netflix. 

Reports suggest future instalments could even focus on the couple’s family Christmas traditions, but whether audiences want it is another story.
