Diddy, who was found guilty on two counts of transportation in federal case, has seemingly changed his strategy after President Trump denied pardon.

While the rapper was acquitted on major charges, Diddy is still trying to get out of jail free card ahead of his sentencing on October 3.

During his appearance at 2 Angry Men podcast, the music mogul’s attorney Mark Geragos admitted that Diddy would join Donald Trump if he is granted a presidential pardon.

When Harvey asked Mark if the Bad Boy Records owner would “pledge allegiance” to the politician, he revealed that it would be a “fealty oath.”

He explained that the two men share an unusual bond, which is being tried criminally by federal prosecutors.

In case of a clemency, the lawyer admitted he won’t be surprised if he hears the Victory crooner say: “I now get it, I understand it and I was wrong then.”

According to Mark, the record executive would “probably say I now get it what [Trump] went through.” This might result in the rapper showing support for the politician.

On the other hand, the 47th president of the United States reportedly denied giving the musician what he wants. He recalled Diddy’s “hostile” behaviour after Trump was running for the office.

Did Diddy’s team approach President Trump for pardon?

Previously, it was confirmed by another defence team member that they have reached out to the businessman for a get out of jail free card.

The recent statement from his team hints at a desperate attempt to get a pardon, even if requires the rapper to acknowledge his past mistake and show support for the businessman.
