Ariana Grande gets harsh response from White House amid Donald Trump criticism
White House responded to the singer after her vocal criticism of the President
Ariana Grande is one of many celebrities who has publicly criticised US President Donald Trump’s policies.
On the other hand, Trump has not shied away from responding harshly to such celebrities and entertainers.
After the Into You singer shared a post on her Instagram story criticizing the Trump administration over its immigration policy and censorship, the White House responded to the pop star with a harsh comeback.
The Wicked star shared a post from makeup artist and influencer Matt Bernstein, which said in part: “it’s been 250 days. now that immigrants have been violently torn from their families and communities have been destroyed.”
In response, White House deputy press secretary Kush Desai shared a statement with MSNBC attacking the singer.
The statement read “Save your tears, Ariana, because President Trump’s actions ended Joe Biden’s inflation crisis and are bringing in trillions in new investments.”
“Get well soon, Ariana!”, the statement ended.
Previously, Trump spoke up against his major critic and Ariana’s peer Taylor Swift saying he “hates” her.
Another person to get attacked by Trump was Bruce Springsteen. The President said he “never liked him, never liked his music, or his Radical Left Politics and, importantly, he’s not a talented guy.”
