Jessie J announces sad news amid breast cancer struggle

British singer Jessie J announced earlier this year that she had been diagnised with breast cancer and will have to undergo mastectomy.

In June, he singer performed at the Capital Summertime ball whivh would be her last show before the surgery.

Later in July, the singer announced that she had a successful mastectomy and doctors had confirmed there was no cell growth.

However, the singer gave update later that she was rushed to the hospital after facing difficulty in breathing.

It was revealed that she had contracted an infection and doctors had found liquid in her lungs.

In a new update, the singer has informed her fans that she will unfortunately have to undergo another surgery.

Jessie insisted that despite the health struggles, she can still make music and be a mother to her two-year-old son.

“I can rest, parent AND release new music.”.

She further said, “I didn't leave a major label after 18 years to be scared to re write the rules to fit around my life / health and just make it realistic on what I can deliver in all roles in my life.”.

Revealing that she will need another surgery this year, Jessie wrote “I can do it”.

Breast cancer is a very common type of cancer which majorly affects women where malignant cells form in the breast tissue.

Many female celebrities have been diagnosed with breast cancer including Olivia Munn, Christina Applegate, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Cynthia Nixon.
