Justin Baldoni responds to Blake Lively’s deposition leak allegations

Justin Baldoni’s legal team is firing back at Blake Lively’s allegations that his team released private information from her sealed deposition to media outlets.

The details of the It Ends With Us actress’s depositions included the back and forth between the two legal teams regarding the place, as well as the Five Feet Apart director’s presence during the proceedings among other things.

In fresh court documents, submitted on August 6, the attorney writes that the Gossip Girl alum "alleges that ‘it also appears that the Wayfarer Defendants immediately leaked details from the deposition to the tabloid media.’ She does not cite any evidence. This is not surprising as there is none."

The document also questions the source of the information, noting that it could be anyone, including Blake or those close to her.

It states that the perpetrator could have been, “her husband [Ryan Reynolds], her multiple attorneys, legal or administrative staff from the law firm representing her (whose office she demanded host the deposition), or the catering staff employed thereby who served lunch."

Ultimately, Justin’s lawyer argues that the knowledge of the parties attending the deposition being leaked is not something to fret over, since it is well-known that those involved are typically allowed to be present.

When was Blake Lively’s deposition?

Blake Lively’s deposition date was also leaked ahead of time, and was delayed after she sought a protective order from the judge presiding over the case, ultimately taking place on July 31.
