Busta Rhymes issued a response against his ex-employee Dashiel Gables, breaking down all the serious claims made against him.

The I Know What You Want rapper was accused of assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and wage and hour violations by the former assistant.

In a statement obtained by People, the 53-year-old, whose real name is Trevor George Smith Jr., gave the rundown of his side of the story.

Rhymes began by completely denying all accusations made against him, following it up with the fact that Gables worked with him for a very brief period of time.

The BET award winner stated that he was looking “forward to proving these allegations false,” by following up with a counter-suit.

He also revealed that his upcoming move “will expose this for what it is - an attempted shake-down by a disgruntled former assistant. Ultimately, I am certain the truth will prevail.”

Meanwhile, on the flip side of things Gables alleges that he was punched in the face twice by Rhymes for trying to get in touch with his daughter, as well as being blacklisted by him afterwards.

What was Busta Rhymes' big hit?

Busta Rhymes gained fame for his verse on the 1992 hit Scenario, with the band A Tribe Called Quest, before it split up.
