Liam Payne’s girlfriend reveals how she will mark his death anniversary

Liam Payne’s girlfriend Kate Cassidy has revealed how she plans to spend the anniversary of his death.

On October 16, 2024, One Direction singer Liam Payne passed away in Argentina during a vacation trip.

The pop star fell form his hotel room’s balcony causing “cranial fracture and extremely serious injuries” which led to his death.

At the time of his death Liam was in a relationship with social media influencer Kate Cassidy who has shared her mourning journey in the past year.

Kate shared a TikTok video earlier this week in which she explained she will be spending the singer’s first death anniversary on an influencer trip in Miami.

Explaining why she chose to go on the trip despite being initially hesitant, she said “Liam would want me to go.”

Addressing the backlash she gets for sharing her life after Liam’s death she said “I feel like no matter what I do, I get commentary.”

“I know for a fact I wouldn't be able to commit to any plans on the 16th.”, she said.

The influencer said grief comes in waves for her and staying busy keeps her mind positive.
