Sarah Ferguson made a glamorous style statement in Italy, stepping out in an emerald green cape gown that gave major Meghan Markle vibes. 

The Duchess of York, 65, attended the star-studded Notti Toscane event hosted by Andrea Bocelli wearing the £1,680 ‘Sarita’ cutout crepe gown by British label Safiyaa, a brand beloved by royal women.

With its dramatic cape sleeves, structured silhouette, and clean lines, the look instantly drew comparisons to Meghan’s most iconic royal outfits. 

The Duchess of Sussex has long championed Safiyaa, famously wearing the brand’s bold blue cape gown in Fiji in 2018 and a show-stopping red version at the 2020 Mountbatten Festival of Music.

Much like Meghan, Sarah’s choice projected poise, confidence, and modern royal elegance while staying rooted in traditional sophistication. 

While it’s unclear if the look was a deliberate nod to Meghan, the resemblance is undeniable, and a reminder of the enduring influence of Meghan’s fashion legacy.

Safiyaa has quietly become a royal favourite, also worn by Princess Kate, who stunned in a custom purple gown at Wimbledon 2024.
