Prince William hit the polo field in Windsor today, showcasing his sporting prowess at the annual Out-Sourcing Inc.

Royal Charity Polo Cup, but this year, he played without Princess Kate cheering him on from the sidelines.

The Princess of Wales, 42, typically supports her husband at the high-profile event but missed the match for a second consecutive year as she carefully balances public engagements while continuing her recovery after last year’s cancer diagnosis.

Spectators included Peter Phillips, Princess Anne’s son, and his girlfriend Harriet Sperling, who enjoyed the sunshine at Guards Polo Club.

This marks the 14th time William has competed in the prestigious match, which raises millions for charities close to the royal couple’s hearts.

Funds from today’s event will benefit 10 charities supported by William and Kate, including Child Bereavement UK, British Red Cross and NHS Charities Together.

With over £14 million raised since its inception, the annual match remains a key event in the royal calendar, even without Princess Kate’s attendance this year.
