Rare Drake, Playboi Carti collaboration surfaces online

Fans were recently treated to something they have not heard before but they might be wanting more of that.

Atlanta artist DJ Swamp Izzo shared a snippet of an unreleased Playboi Carti track featuring Drake.

The 34-second clip appears to have been played during one of Izzo’s DJ sets based on its audio quality.

The verse contains Drake singing about women in Houston over a minimal trap beat and Carti is confirmed to be on the track despite not being heard in the snippet.

Neither Drizzy nor Sir Cartier has made any comments about the apparent leak, but DJ Akademiks has given his two cents.

The podcaster claims that the song was intended to be included on the Canadian artist’s 2023 album For All the Dogs but was scrapped.

Both Drake and Carti have been busy lately, with the former being hard at work trying to finish his ninth solo album, while the latter has been bringing up his Baby Boi project.
