Doja Cat makes 'wild' remarks about viral fan encounter

The Say So hitmaker, Doja Cat, slammed a fan for his actions in a video of the two where she seemed to be responding positively to him.

In the now-viral clip, the duo can be seen chatting when the fan says he is going to give her his shirt, and proceeds to take it off and hand it over to her.

The Paint The Town Red singer, whose real name is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, was smiling wide throughout the video, even reciprocating the follower’s hug.

The clip concluded with them holding hands and screaming excitedly while jumping up and down.

However, Doja took to her X (formerly Twitter) soon after the clip had garnered significant attention to write, “Bottom line is i'll smile at you but it doesn't mean I f**k w you and don't touch me and man handle me when you don't even f**kin know me. iykyk.”

She continued in the since-deleted tweet, “i [sic] honestly think I need to stand up for myself in the moment sometimes. and he didn't even know my f**kin name to be touching me and kissing me on my face like that is crazy."

The Candy crooner followed up the brutal dig by informing followers that she had thrown away the “musty” shirt.

Since then, the fan who goes by the handle “thisisntpablo” on his social media made a statement about the clip, saying that he was hurt by Doja’s tweets.

Surprisingly, he also revealed that Doja had actually complimented the shirt before they started recording.
