Chris Eubank Jr. to star in Guy Ritchie’s Netflix series ‘The Gentlemen’
Filming kicks off for season two as boxing legend joins the cast of the crime drama
Boxing champion Chris Eubank Jr. reportedly landed a role in the second season of Guy Ritchie’s popular Netflix series, The Gentlemen.
The Sun claims that the 35-year-old athlete and son of Chris Sr. is overjoyed to sign up for the role, as he will be joining the cast for the second series.
The drama centres on Theo James' character, Edward "Eddie" Horniman, the 14th duke of Halstead, who inherits a mobster-run country estate.
Chris will naturally play a boxer and a big part of The Gentlemen is about fighting, as it’s the sports the gangsters in the show are involved in.
In many of his crime dramas, including Snatch, in which Brad Pitt fought bare-knuckled, Guy Ritchie has included boxing.
After reaching an incredible 44 million views in just four weeks, the star-studded crime drama became one of the platform's biggest hits of 2024.
Season two filming has already begun, and Theo, who plays the lead role of aristocrat Eddie Halstead, was seen on set for the scenes in which a motorbike gang rips through the streets.
