Glen Powell marked his support for Jimmy Kimmel by making a guest appearance at his first show after the monologue that got him suspended almost a week ago.

The actor showed up at the September 23rd episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote his upcoming comedy show Chad Powers.

As the beloved host introduced the Anyone But You star, he also apologized to him since he had pulled Glen "into the middle of all this,” referring to the nationwide threat to free speech issue and the messy aftermath of the surprise cancellation.

"I'm honored. I'm just so happy you're back," the film star told the comedian in response to his humble remarks.

The Top Gun: Maverick star also talked about the talk show host and his earlier interactions, adding that Kimmel and the show’s producer at the time, 2008 to be precise, would allow him into the green room for free snacks.

It appears that the show is back with its regularly scheduled programming, after the Walt Disney Company made the announcement of its return.

The statement noted that Jimmy Kimmel Live!’s suspension was done to avoid making the tense political climate at the time worse, referring to Charlie Kirk’s shooting and Kimmel’s ‘insensitive’ monologue soon after.

Did Jimmy Kimmel condemn Charlie Kirk’s shooting?

Yes, in a social media address the talk show host wrote, “Instead of the angry finger-pointing, can we just for one day agree that it is horrible and monstrous to shoot another human?” adding that he is sending love to all the victims of “senseless gun violence.”
