During his emotional monologue, the comedian pointed out that Erika’s forgiveness was a “very beautiful moment.”

He explained that the former model “forgave the man who shot her husband,” which is “an example we should follow.”

The host talked about the controversial remarks, clearing the air that his intention was not to “make light of the murder of a young man.”

Jimmy recalled on the show that he paid a tribute to the activist after his tragic assassination at the Utah event, sending “love to his family and asking for compassion.”

This came after President Donald Trump accompanied the wife of late Charlie at his funeral along with several notable figures from the government.

Erika took the stage to announce that she is forgiving the alleged killer Tyler Robinson as “it is what Christ did.” She maintained that the “answer to hate is not hate.”
