Soon after the grievous news broke, Rakim Athelaston Mayers, known professionally as A$AP Rocky, rushed to Rihanna while it was raining in New York City.
The Sundress rapper was dressed in black, sporting a leather jacket with long jeans shorts and sunglasses to cover his eyes. He looked sombre and deeply affected by the news.
Sometime during the past week, Rihanna’s brother Rajad Fenty was spotted going to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre. Moreover, reports also claimed that the Fenty Beauty founder was with her brother, although not visible in the photos by TMZ.
Meanwhile, A$AP Rocky was at another location, as he tried to stay by his family’s side.
The 37-year-old singer shares two kids with her partner and is currently pregnant with their third child, which the couple revealed at the 2025 Met Gala.
Rihanna shared a complicated relationship with her father and reports suggested that the father and daughter were involved in a legal feud when the singer claimed her father had misused her name for marketing purposes.
Rihanna later dropped the lawsuit filed against her father and reconciled their relationship.
