After the success of The Last of Us, Bella Ramsey has an idea for what project they’d like to reconnect on with Pedro Pascal.
Pascal’s character, Joel, dies in the second season of the Emmy-nominated HBO series, closing his chapter, but Ramsey already has a perfect plan for their reunion.
“I think maybe like a heist movie where we’re robbing a bank together,” Ramsey told Variety on Sunday at HBO’s Emmys nominees event in Hollywood.
Ramsey shared that they are most frequently asked about Pascal.
“It’s, ‘How is Pedro Pascal? Is he as nice as he seems?’” Ramsey said. “That’s mostly what people ask me, and the answer is, ‘Yes.’… He’s here, and I haven’t seen him in so long. I’m looking around, trying to find him.”
The Emmy-nominee added, “Most of our texts consist of, ‘Where in the world are you? I’m here, are you there? Oh, we just missed each other.’”
When the conversation turned to Pascal’s recent role in The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Ramsey said, “I could be Spider-Man,” if they ever landed a superhero movie.
“Tom Holland did a great job, though. So maybe they do need to make a new [superhero] for me,” Ramsey said, sharing their reaction to Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man film — the only superhero movie they’ve ever watched.
“It was the first time I watched a Marvel film, and that was two months, three months ago,” Ramsey said, adding that it was “incredible, I loved it.”
However, Ramsey and Pascal’s collaboration on a superhero movie or a heist film is just an idea from the actor. No official news or rumour confirms the possibility.
As for The Last of Us, season two wrapped with a cliffhanger, but Ramsey said they haven’t received a script for season three, nor do they know when filming will start.
