Taylor Swift’s fans are convinced that she has been using a pseudonym, Willow Bowery, to publish her writings for a while now, with the latest addition being The Death of a Showgirl.

The name, for a true swiftie would ring a bell as being a name similar to the one used by the Mastermind singer’s ex-boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, when he co-wrote with the global popstar for a number of her songs since Folkore.

William Bowery (Joe) has his counterpart in Willow, who has been publishing since February 24th with her first book called Tortured Poets, which is a direct reference to Taylor’s eleventh studio album, The Tortured Poets Department.

The album, however, came months after the book had been published making fans speculate if the author was actually the 35-year-old songwriter, and the rabbit hole has only gotten deeper.

After the announcement of her latest album The Life of a Showgirl, fans noticed that a new book by the writer they suspect is Taylor herself, has surfaced called The Death of a Showgirl with the same release date as the album, October 3rd.

Moreover, the book is priced at the announcement date, eight dollars and twelve cents, and the author’s previous publication Clownery, has much in common with the things that the Midnights hitmaker mentioned during the New Heights podcast.

Notably, the Cardigan singer talked at length about her song Willow, and about social media, which was a major theme in the poetry of the latest publication.

Is Taylor Swift Willow Bowery?

There is no confirmation as of yet that Taylor is writing under a pseudonym, it is simply a fan theory, with many fans condemning the author for profiting off of the renowned singer’s fame.
