Gwyneth Paltrow is clearing the air on her relationship with Meghan Markle, but staying tight-lipped about one thing in particular.
The Iron Man star recently spoke to People while attending a summit in LA and gave a rare peek into her off-screen connection with the Duchess of Sussex.
“We have a text friendship so far. I've been travelling quite a bit,” Gwyneth shared.
"I don't like that, when people try to pit women against each other,” she said, shutting down the so-called feud narrative.
When asked if fans might catch her guest-starring in the second season of With Love, Meghan, the actor gave a rather coy response, dodging a straight answer.
The speculation around a so-called “rivalry” between the two women stems from the launch of Meghan’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, which many saw as a Goop-adjacent venture.
Goop, which Gwyneth launched in 2008, has grown into a $250 million empire.
Still, Paltrow has never seen Meghan as a threat. In a previous Vanity Fair interview, she said: “I was raised to see other women as friends, not foes… Another woman is never your competition.”
