Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni are set to battle it out in 2026, as Taylor Swift’s longtime friend finds herself in a legal storm.

The 37-year-old allegedly threatened to release Swift's embarrassing private texts unless the pop star publicly supported the actress in her conflict with co-star Baldoni.

In response to Lively's request to revoke their subpoena to the singer, the director's attorneys filed a legal letter on Wednesday that contains the shocking revelation.

According to the court document, during the actress' intensifying legal battle with 41-year-old Baldoni, the former Gossip Girl star allegedly urged Love Story vocalist to erase their text messages and tried to persuade her to make a public statement in her favour.

The most recent development provides more insight into the breakdown of Lively and Swift's close friendship, which has cooled off in the wake of the actress's high-stakes lawsuit against the actor.

Despite her efforts to disassociate herself from the commotion, she and Lively have since been subpoenaed for communications pertaining to the case.

Baldoni's legal team, headed by Bryan Freedman, responded to Lively's "wrong" allegations that the proposed subpoena to Swift "seeks irrelevant documents" in the letter to the judge that Daily Mail was able to obtain.
