Ryan Seacrest sets to achieve another major career milestone

Ryan Seacrest has achieved another major milestone in his entertainment career.

The American media personality recently earned a nomination for Male Star of the Year at the 2026 Critics Choice Real TV Awards on May 6. 

As reported by Deadline, the American Idol Show has also been nominated for Best Competition Series in Talent/Variety category.

It is pertinent to mention that the 51-year-old host has been hosting the reality singing competition since its debut in 2002, with the season 24 finale scheduled for May 11, 2026.

Besides Ryan, other nominees include Alan Cumming for The Traitors, Chris Hemsworth for Limitless, Robert Irwin for Dancing with the Stars and Stanley Tucci for Tucci in Italy.

Last week, the the American Idol social media team recognised the host over his achievement on Instagram.

“Congratulations to @ryanseacrest and the #AmericanIdol cast and crew on their Critics Choice Realty TV Awards nominations,” wrote the American Idol social team in the caption.

Interestingly, fans showered their love to Ryan following the announcement of the nominations.

One said, “@ryanseacrest Congratulations! You deserve it! One of the hardest working guys on TV!”

Another remarked, “Noone deserves this award more than Ryan. He’s the man.”

Meanwhile, the winners of the 2026 Critics Choice Real TV Awards will be announced on June 3.
