Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos tease Ryan Seacrest over on-air wardrobe mishaps

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos brought humor to daytime television once again as they poked fun at former co-host Ryan Seacrest during a recent episode of Live with Kelly and Mark. 

The couple reminisced about Seacrest’s time on the show, joking about his now-infamous wardrobe malfunctions while hosting live broadcasts.

During the lighthearted segment, Ripa recalled how Seacrest frequently experienced mishaps with his clothing, particularly his pants splitting on air.

According to People, she humorously noted that the incidents seemed to happen “constantly,” often triggered by simple movements such as bending or picking something up.

Consuelos joined in on the banter, while longtime producer Michael Gelman also weighed in, pointing out Seacrest’s preference for tightly fitted outfits, something the hosts suggested may have contributed to the repeated incidents.

Moreover, the playful conversation emerged during a broader discussion about wardrobe and undergarments, a topic the show frequently explores with candid humor. 

Ripa even shared a personal anecdote, adding to the comedic tone that has become a hallmark of the couple’s on-screen chemistry.

Despite the teasing, the segment reflected the enduring friendship between Ripa and Seacrest, who co-hosted the show together from 2017 until his departure in 2023. 

As per the outlet, he has since moved on to other hosting roles, including Wheel of Fortune, but remains on good terms with his former colleagues.
