Savannah Guthrie recently makes big announcement amid the ongoing search for her missing mother, Nancy Guthrie.
Today anchor reveals that that she’s all set for a new hosting gig during an appearance by Jimmy Fallon, an executive producer on the upcoming show.
Jimmy says, “This is very exciting… We've been developing Wordle as a game show for the past two-and-a-half years with The New York Times, and it's official.”
“We are making Wordle Game Show with our host, Savannah,” he shares.
Interestingly, Savannah will be directing the Wordle as host of the game show, which will feature contestants who will compete for money.
Savannah further says, “We've been holding this secret between us for a long time now… And we're going to make Wordle a game show.”
Elaborating on his decision to take Savannah onboard, Jimmy mentions that they “need to have someone that looks like they play Wordle, someone that knows how to run a show and host it, and we did the pilot, and she’s amazing”.
Meanwhile, Savannah adds that she “loves a game and a show” that will be “super, fast-paced” and a “great family game”.
