Savannah Guthrie has finally come to speak regarding her mother's disappearance of almost two months ago.
The 54-year-old American broadcaster and journalist will be interviewed by Today, Hoda Kotb in two parts aired on March 26 and 27.
In a preview clip of the show, the co-anchor struggled through tears wondering how the situation has been putting her family under such strain.
Guthrie has not been on the show since her 84-year-old mother, Nancy, disappeared on January 31, out of her Tucson, Arizona, home.
The law enforcers are viewing it as a possible kidnapping. Doorbell cameras captured by were made public on February 10.
On the night when Nancy vanished a masked armed individual was caught outside their house.
According to the FBI, the suspect was an average-looking man, 5.9 to 5.10 tall with a large backpack.
The reward had initially been presented at 100000 dollars which was increased to 1 million dollars by Guthrie and her family.
The household contributed $500,000 to the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children.
Today has had to cope without her, but with the help of Kotb and other rotating anchors, she has been replaced by Craig Melvin.
The interview is a reappearance of Guthrie on network airwaves even as her family awaits answers, there were no arrest on the case.
NBC has not specified the time that Guthrie will go back to co-hosting.
