Writing for the Daily Mail, former politician Nadine Dorries speculated that the uptick in Archie and Lilibet appearances may be tied to Meghan’s new lifestyle brand, As Ever.
"After years of keeping Archie and Lilibet out of view, apart from sanctioned images, why are they suddenly cropping up now?" Dorries asked.
"Is it because their presence might be perceived as helping Meghan’s aspirational lifestyle brand, sold as it is on the idea of perfection in the home and joyful family life?"
She also noted the contradiction between the couple’s privacy advocacy and the decision to share even limited views of their children on social media.
"I can’t honestly believe that Harry will be entirely happy with his children being seen on social media in this way," Dorries added.
The commentary comes just days after Harry and Meghan renewed their call for stronger protections for children online.
In a BBC Breakfast interview last week, Harry emphasized the dangers of social media, saying:
"Life is better off social media. We’re just grateful that our kids are too young to be on social media at this point."
