Prince William and Princess Kate may be plotting a major home glow-up — and it involves a long-forgotten part of their Windsor residence.
The royal couple, who moved into Adelaide Cottage in summer 2022 with their three kids — Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis — are now rumuored to be eyeing the property's "abandoned" outhouse for a stylish renovation.
As reported by The Mirror, the outhouse was previously described as "inhabitable," but royal insiders say it’s now at the top of the couple’s renovation wish list.
The plan is to transform the space into an annexe-style property for extra room — though exactly what they’ll use it for remains under wraps.
Adelaide Cottage, a charming Grade-II listed home nestled in Windsor Great Park, boasts four bedrooms and tons of royal history — originally built way back in 1831.
During the St Patrick’s Day Parade at Wellington Barracks, Kate gave a rare glimpse into their move, telling a guest: “We were in London but moved there for more green space. It's close enough to London, not too far away.”
Royal watchers may recall the family’s low-key move to Windsor came just weeks before the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, and sources say the late monarch’s wishes played a big part in their relocation.
Their three children have since enrolled at Lambrook School in Berkshire, enjoying a countryside upbringing while staying just a short drive from London.
