Seems like Morgan Wallen broke some hearts over at NBC after his recent SNL incident.

The country singer appeared as a musical guest during a March 29 episode of the sketch comedy show, Saturday Night Live.

Wallen made headlines at the end of the show when during a routine goodnight by the episode’s host Mikey Madison, the artist just walked off the stage.

Later that night, Wallen posted a picture on Instagram of his private jet with the caption “Get me to God’s country.”

SNL’s writers made sure to address the strange moment in the following episode with their trademark sly humour.

During the episode's Weekend Update segment, cast member Colin Jost joked about the US stock market and said, “Money is leaving the stock market faster than Morgan Wallen at goodnights.”

The jabs were not limited to just one segment as during the show’s cold open, another cast member mentioned Wallen’s social media post.

“McDonald Island. I would love to visit there. Can you imagine that? Big Mac and a hula skirt. Get me to God’s country, right? Remember that?” James Austin Johnson said while playing President Donald Trump.

It is unclear whether the references were a shot at Wallen or just a playful gesture. The singer also has not reacted to the apparent mocking, leaving his fans curious.
