Quentin Tarantino is giving fans a cinematic treat this December, merging Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 into a single, uncut epic.

Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair hits cinemas on December 5, complete with a never-before-seen seven-and-a-half-minute animated sequence, and select screenings in glorious 70mm and 35mm.

Tarantino, who originally wrote the films as one story, said: “I wrote and directed it as one movie — and I’m so glad to give the fans the chance to see it as one movie. Blood and guts on a big screen in all its glory!”

The movie will also ditch the cliffhanger ending of the 2003 original and scrap the recap from the 2004 follow-up, giving viewers a seamless revenge saga.

Notably, Uma Thurman reprises her iconic role as The Bride, seeking vengeance against ex-lover Bill and the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad, alongside Lucy Liu, Vivica A. Fox, Michael Madsen, Daryl Hannah, Gordon Liu, Michael Marks, and David Carradine.

Despite fan hopes for a third installment, possibly featuring Thurman’s daughter Maya Hawke, Tarantino remains firm: no Kill Bill 3 is on the cards.

He has also abandoned plans for his previously teased final project, The Movie Critic, admitting on The Church of Tarantino podcast that turning the “most boring profession in the world” into a film proved too challenging.
