Emma Stone, Chris Pine rom-com ‘The Catch’ announces release date

Emma Stone and Chris Pine are set to star in rom-com The Catch.

The plot remains unknown except that it is described as a two-hander rom-com.

As per the Deadline, Pine was in early talks to join Stone in the upcoming pic, directed by Dave McCary.

Stone was juggling through several options but once the latest draft of script came in, original written by Patrick Kang and Michael Levin, while the most recent by Jen Statsky and Travis Helwig, Stone turned her attention to the project.

Once Pine was also on board, the film was a go for later this year.

Shawn Levy and Dan Levine will produce the film and Robin Fisichella will executive produce.

The Catch is slated for release on May 21, 2027.
