Tina Knowles has addressed Kanye West’s distasteful tweets against her grandchildren, Rumi and Sir Carter, in an Instagram post.
Knowles, Beyoncé's mother, has decided to be the bigger person as she leaves everything up to karma and higher powers.
“This battle is not mine, but the Lords, I know that God has got this,” the 71-year-old powerfully captioned the video featuring a “corny joke.”
The renowned fashion designer was all glammed up for her photoshoot promoting her book, Matriarch, when she cracked the joke, “What happens when a snowman throws a tantrum?”
Followed by the short and suggestive answer, “He has a meltdown.”
Netizens recognised this as a clear response to one of the tumultuous rapper’s many Twitter rants, which the Heartless singer has since deleted due to the possibility of his account being taken down.
West’s all-caps post on Wednesday made a cutting remark about Jay Z and Beyoncé's children, specifically targeting the pair’s 7-year-old twins, alleging that they were conceived through IVF.
The Yeezy owner then changed his statement, admitting that he felt guilty about making the claims.
Notably, West, who was previously married to Kim Kardashian, and Jay-Z were close friends and even collaborated on an album called Watch the Throne in 2011.
